Prestige Classes
Sword Master

The Sword Master is most typically a fighter who has dedicated himself to the Sword. He is adept at using any sword, whether it be the Short Sword, or the Bastard Sword. The Sword Master is so proficient with swords that he may transfer feats to a different type of sword than what the feat was chosen for after a given amount of time in battle! Fighters and Paladins are the most common Sword-Masters, yet Rangers, Barbarians and Rogues often become lower-level Sword Masters. Wizards, Sorcerers, Bards and Clerics rarely become Sword-Masters due to the time investments and time away from their regular practices. Druids can and might become one, but all abilities will only apply to the Scimitar.

Description: The Sword Master excels at combat with swords, having pushed him/herself to perfection with the sword.

Note: This class does not cause a Paladin to "turn off the path", it is an extension of the Paladin's fighting ability.

Sword Master: This ability allows you to transfer feats that apply to one type of sword to the current sword in your hand. As a master, this takes 5 rounds of combat.

Sword High Master: Decreases the time to transfer the feats to 3 rounds.

Sword Grand Master: Decreses the time to transfer the feats to 1 round.

Note: this only applies to feats specifically with a sword. Weapon Focus, Weapon Specialization, Weapon Finesse (Only swords that work with feat), etc...

Quick Draw: As feat.

Deflect Arrows: Must have a sword in at least one hand. Other hand may have another sword or shield only. Otherwise, same as feat in PHB.

Better Critical (All Swords): This applies to all swords. This ability increases the damage done by a critical hit to the next multiplier. So a x2 becomes a x3.

Bonus Feat: Can be chosen from the following: Improved Critical (sword), Weapon Specialization (sword), Weapon Finesse (Sword), Two-Weapon Fighting, Ambidexterity, Blind-Fight, Combat Reflexes, Power Attack, Cleave, Sunder, Great Cleave.

Sword Flurry: Once every six rounds, can make an extra attack at Sword Master Level as attack bonus plus strength( or Dex in case of finesse) modifier. Applies only to main hand, user must also be using a full action.

Defensive Parry: On any round, the sword master can sacrifice any number of attacks and make defensive parrys with the attack's bonuses sacrificed. The parry must be declared before the attack is made along with which attack bonus you are using, but after the attack is declared. If the parry roll is higher than the attacker's role, the blow is parried. He must be using at least one sword, and the attacks sacrificed must be those of the sword hand.
